The fuel in your tank, litre by litre
A capacitive probe installed inside the tank that measures the real fuel level with up to 1 % accuracy. Your Vigilo tracker sends the litres to the platform and alerts you to every refuel and every theft.

Know where every litre goes
Real level in litres
Continuous tank reading, calibrated to its shape and size, not the dashboard gauge.
Refuels
Every refuel is recorded with the litres, time and place. Compare it with the receipt.
Theft and abnormal drops
If the level drops suddenly while the vehicle is parked, you get an instant alert.
Real consumption
Litres per 100 km or per engine hour, by vehicle, driver or machine.
From the tank to your screen
The probe measures the electrical capacitance between its two tubes, which changes with the fuel height. The Vigilo tracker receives the reading and the platform turns it into litres.
Installed in the tank
It goes in through the top of the tank and is cut to its height. Our technicians calibrate it for the tank shape.
Connected to the tracker
It connects to the Vigilo tracker by cable, or over Bluetooth in the wireless version.
Litres, charts and alerts
The platform shows the level in litres and the history, and alerts you to refuels and abnormal drops.

Built to work in the harshest conditions
Temperature compensation
Corrects fuel expansion in cold and heat to keep the accuracy.
Tamper-proof
Galvanic isolation and cable-break detection: if someone disconnects it, you will know.
Intrinsic safety
Certified Ex ia IIB T6 to work in explosive atmospheres (zones 0, 1 and 2).
IP69 sealing
Withstands dust, water and high-pressure washing. Very tough polyamide housing.
App configuration
The Bluetooth version is set up and calibrated from a phone, without opening the vehicle.
Fits your fleet
RS-485, frequency, analogue and Bluetooth outputs to connect to the Vigilo tracker.
For everything with a fuel tank
Trucks and buses
Control fuel spend across the fleet and detect theft on the road or in the yard.
Construction and farm machinery
Excavators, tractors and cranes that spend days on site or in the field unattended.
Generators
Know how much fuel is left and when to refill, without travelling.
Fixed tanks
Diesel tanks at depots, warehouses and farms, with low-level alerts.
When you need a fuel level probe
CAN bus data
Reads the level shown by the vehicle itself. A good reference, but its accuracy depends on the factory sender and it is not designed to detect small thefts.
- No work on the tank
- Only vehicles with CAN bus
- Factory sender accuracy
Fuel level probe
Measures directly inside the tank with up to 1 % accuracy. Detects refuels and extractions of just a few litres and works in any tank.
- Up to 1 % accuracy*
- Any vehicle, machine or tank
- Detects thefts of a few litres

Questions about the fuel level sensor
How accurate is it?
Up to 1 % in the measuring range, once calibrated for the shape of the tank. Far more than the vehicle’s factory gauge.
Does it detect fuel theft?
Yes. If the level drops abnormally, for example while the vehicle is parked, the platform sends you an alert with the time and place.
Does it work in any tank?
Yes. The probe is cut to the height of the tank and calibrated to its shape, in trucks, machinery, generators and fixed tanks.
How is it different from CAN bus data?
CAN bus reads the level shown by the vehicle. The probe measures directly in the tank, more accurately, and also works in vehicles and machines without CAN bus.
Who installs it?
Our technicians install it, calibrate it and connect it to the Vigilo tracker, by cable or over Bluetooth.
Can it be used in explosive atmospheres?
Yes. It has Ex ia IIB T6 intrinsic safety and can work in zones 0, 1 and 2.
